Frequently Asked Questions

Technical Documentation

Where can I find the technical documentation for a Desoutter tool?

Every Desoutter product page provides access to technical documentation in the Product Resources section. This area gathers all available files:

  • Drawings and 3D files (STEP, PTZ, etc.)

  • Safety Information

  • Product Instructions / User Manual

  • Certificates of Conformity / CE / ATEX / ISO

  • Warranty information

  • Exploded views and spare parts lists via the ServiceLink site

You can download these documents directly from the product page or search by tool name or reference in the search bar, and/or by serial number through the Digital Twin.

Please go to the Resource portal page to access and download your documentation.

Where can I find CE, ATEX, ISO certificates or other compliance documents?

These documents are available in the Product Resources section of each product page, under "Compliance" menu. If you cannot find the required document, please contact our support team who can provide it.

Where do I find the serial number of my tool?

The serial number is located on the nameplate or identification label directly on the tool. It is required to obtain detailed information about your tool, maintenance frequency, calibration, or compliance certificate. Use the Digital Twin search engine to access these documents.

Software

Where can I download Desoutter software (CVI3, CVI Config, etc.)

Some software references (CVI CONFIG, CVI MONITOR) are available in the Software Centre section and have free upgrades. Always install the latest version compatible with your hardware. For the other software, please contact your local representative.

How do I obtain a software licence key?

Licences are issued by our sales team. Fill out the Contact Us form to request a quote or activation.

Calibration & Maintenance

When should I calibrate my Desoutter tool?

As a general rule, we recommend annual calibration, or more frequently depending on usage intensity and your production quality requirements.

How do I get my Desoutter tool calibrated?

Calibration services are carried out at our Desoutter service centres and can also be performed at your premises. Contact us to arrange an intervention or to explore our range of calibration options.

I have a maintenance and calibration contract. How do I get my certificate?

Whether your tool is under a maintenance contract or not, we always provide the calibration certificate for each tool after servicing. If you have misplaced it, you can retrieve it by entering its serial number in the search bar.

Can I calibrate my tool myself?

Torque measurements can be checked using a reference transducer; however, calibration requires specialized equipment and ISO certification. Desoutter service centres are fully qualified to perform these calibrations.

Does Desoutter offer a service contract including calibration?

Yes. Our service contracts include preventive maintenance, periodic calibration, and complete traceability of interventions. Contact us for a personalised offertailored to your tool fleet.

Will I receive a certificate after calibration?

Yes, every calibration performed by Desoutter comes with a downloadable certificate. By default, we provide a certificate of capability, and we can accommodate additional requirements upon request.
